I have a non-Dolby Revox B-77 R2R and am wondering about how to apply Dolby B-Type decoding to the Dolby reels I have. I also have a Revox B710 Cassette deck that has Dolby-B decoding. I was wondering if I connect the B-77 outputs to the B710 inputs and listened to the Source on the B710 would Dolby-B decoding be applied to the output. I tried it and really don't hear much of a difference so I don't think it works that way.
