B&O is an interesting company. They have shops of their own around the U.S. Back in the 1970s, for my first speaker purchase, I bought a pair of B&O S-60s, which were modest-sized bookshelf speakers. They were exquisitely beautiful furniture and out-performed most other speakers in the dealership at a similar price. "A horn speaker is a hard speaker," I remember the salesman saying as I cringed at the awful sound of Klipsch Heresys I auditioned at the time. I kept the B&Os for quite a while and was very pleased with their sound.
B&O has always had a unique take on equipment and much of it is very beautiful, but lately their speakers have been rather goofy looking fo my taste. Sound is likely good though I haven't auditioned them.
