I have not heard Wilson's latest models.
Many years ago I had the opportunity to hear his flagship WAMM speaker which was probably priced as high as his current models when inflation is factored in.
I have heard many expensive hifi systems over the years, including some of Wilson's less expensive speakers. However none of them have come close to what I heard from the WAMMS. What sets the WAMMS apart is they are the only speakers that fooled me into thinking I was hearing live music as opposed to a reproduction.
I don't know how close Wilson's current flagships come to his early WAMMS, but if they do, they might be worth their crazy prices.
