In the '74 timeframe, I spent some time with Roy Cizek in Bloomington, IN listening to his new 2-way speakers he was selling locally. He was blind and had exceptionally good hearing. At the time, I owned ESS AMT-1 Heil speakers and brought one over to his place for evaluation. What I learned was that the bass was deficient on the AMT-1's and his 2-way actually had better bass.
