You might have to remove the grill cloth but only in the corners. To remove the female half careful use of a drill will help. Use a bit only slightly larger than the hole in the fitting. The rest can be removed with needle nosed pliers. The male half can be removed the same way after you clip off the fitting so it's reasonable even. Did you check Parts Express?
