So I fried the EMIM midrange drivers in both of my Renaissance 90 loudspeakers. (Don't ask.) Thankfully, I have spares. The issue is that I can't remove the burned out EMIMs from the cabinets: they're affixed by means of some adhesive. I mean, they won't budge. I haven't yet tried a hair dryer -- in part because I don't own one -- but that's about the only thing I can think of. Anyone have any suggestions for, uh, decoupling drivers from speaker cabinets? These are the original factory-installed EMIMs, btw. So however Infinity affixed them at the factory is how they're affixed right now. (The cabinets, in case it matters, are a blonde oak finish. I have another set of Renaissance 90s, in satin-finish piano black lacquer, and I had no problem replacing a problem EMIM about a decade ago.)
