The DeCapos are a very neutral speaker and I've heard them in a lot of rooms and a lot of systems and they've always come across as very natural without added warmth. It sounds perfectly balanced to me. I heard the FS68SE's only once at a dealer driven by PS Audio and it sounded very full - a little too much for my taste. But still, quite excellent. Coming from Quad 12L's, you will not be disappointed in the least by either speaker.
