I own a bunch of martin logan speakers (SL3, Quest Z, Stylos, Logos)
and I would never buy the Prodigy - I hated the sound, it is
very different than older martin logans.Everybody likes different stuff, but listen before you buy.
To me, they were shrill - I just wanted to leave the room
after a couple minutes, and this was in a system that I
was very familiar with. You can pick up a pair of used Quest Zs for $1800 or so,
and they sound far superior to the Prodigy, IMHO.
Another alternative would be the CLS and a bag end sub.
Sound Lab and Magnepan make fine stuff in the $12K range,
also.
