Sorry for being late to the party. I have used Paul Joppa's triode load equation for years and it gives a pretty good estimate for the transformer load. The equation is V/I - 2.38*rp = Load
So for your GM70 we have V = 1100volts, I = 90mA and rp = 1850ohms thus 1100/0.09 - 2.38*1850 = 7819 ohms. An 8k transformer would be the closest and the Monolith is certainly a good choice.
