A Grant Fidelity A-534. 300b integrated. Came with upgraded Shuguang/Psvane tube package.

The sound is quite different from the 2a3c. At first it almost seemed too rich in the midrange. But I got used to that and the fullness extends into the bass region as well, which I quite like. It's about twice the size and weight, giving at least the impression of superior build quality. I don't regret upgrading in the least.

I was pretty happy with the MP-2a3c. My reason for switching was 2-fold: I really needed a remote control, and I wanted to see what I could get at the next price point up the chain. At the end of the day I don't think the Dared is a $2K amp at half the price. But it's a nice sounding amp for $800.
