Virtual memory should never be used with digital audio engines PERIOD. Virtual memory is just using the hard drive. That is a different thing. There is no reason for doing this stupid stuff guys. Do you really think that you are using 4GB of RAM for playing WAV or AIFF files? Virtual memory was not intended for this application, and it will not be allowed by most digital audio engines, because you most generally cannot print and play from the same system drive simultaneously without issues.

Crap guys, even those engineers in the studio working on native systems do not need (nor can they use) virtual memory. This is even for large 48 track 24/88.2 sessions, with multiple plug-ins, etc.
