Icron makes them for PS-Audio

USB to TCP/IP extenders have been around for a long time: doing things like extending conference rooms with audio/video, keyboards and mice. These work over layer 2 and 3 switches as well.

One thing that you should make sure that you should look for is isochronous: these have the highest bandwidth and some audio signals do NOT work properly with lesser, downstream models: or there are dropouts in the signal.

These devices are used effectively for folks who want to locate their computers in different rooms, and keep their various "issues" away from the audio rack.

PS Audio used to, (and may still), have Icron build them for them.

Startech also has Icron build them these, and I don't remember, - but they may have been a touch cheaper via Startech.

Cheers,
