It turns out that the easy way to get the keyboard to hide is to simply rotate the screen 90 degrees assuming you have screen rotation enabled. So you can use this with Samsung Android phones to control desktop programs such as Qobuz and likely many others. The downside is that it is a bit clumsy compared to working right at the PC. PS, for what it is worth, this does not seem to work with Samsung Tab models.
