It's a lot of work. There are many variables, but the results can closely mirror your vinyl playback and save wear and tear on carts.
I've done several thousand recordings, some multiple times as I learn new things. Having a copy made before and after changes/improvements is better than relying on old memories. For example, changing tubes, improving isolation, improving cleaning methods, new cart, etc.
Record - TT - phono - pre - Tascam DA 3000.
Edit - RX - VinylStudio - wav files
Playback - Roon - Bricasti M5 - Dac
