Hi all, I'm having an issue with my subwoofer. I use a Raspberry Pi to eq it. Problem is, when something like a huge explosion on a movie is played, my amp's relay cuts in and the sound effect is ruined. I can turn the gain down and it's not as fun.
The amp is rated 450wrms at 4 ohm, I'm driving 8 ohm load. The sub is an infinite Baffle, and the Pi is in real time audio using Jack Audio Connection Kit and Jack-Rack 3 band parametric eq does my sub tuning. I've added a limiter, but don't understand how to use it. Can anyone explain?
Thanks
