I finally found some time to package up my second Raspberry Pi with the Allo DigiOne SPDIF output board. Downloaded the latest Feb 2018 DietPi release and imaged it to the RPi microSD card for bootup. Configured it in powersave mode again running 600MHz max (of 1200MHz typical). Installed Roon Bridge software and not much else. This stripped down DietPi is consuming about 160MB of 1000MB available. Boots up and ready to go in less than 20-sec and that includes having to reach out over the internet for a NTP server to set the time upon boot.

Raspberry Pi & Allo DigiOne SPDIF board running DietPi OS + Roon Bridge into my PS Audio NuWave DSD DAC. Sounds great!

Roon setup using the iPad showing three Roon Bridge end-points

Configure for Allo DigiOne SPDIF Output board

Plays 24/192 PCM 'hi-res' no issues

Plays 24/96 PCM 'hi-res' no issues

Plays 16/44.1 PCM 'CD rip' no issues

And of course the Allo DigiOne driving a good outboard DAC sounds better than the Allo BOSS DAC I have on the other Pi in the garage setup.
