I replaced the two OPA2134 and single OPA2604 op amps in the garage system's Music Hall 25.3 with Burson V5s using discrete JFETs. Listened extensively yesterday using a wide range of music.

Since Music Hall uses standard 8 pin dip sockets, replacement took minutes. Naturally, I double checked orientation of the notches to ensure proper direction so as to not fry them. Those with surface mounted chips would have some work to do initially.

They definitely elevate the performance in many subtle ways. You hear more inner detail without any false brightness. There's better focus with voice and instruments. You're better able to follow rhythms in the background.

On the linked page, you find a wide range of units they can replace. Call this one happy camper!
