Small aluminum that requires an Ethernet connection-you can access your library via a NAS on your home network or attach a USB drive (I use the latter, a Seagate 1TB). There's a 30,000 track limit, no problem for me as my library has around 16,000 tracks, all in either AIFF or ALAC format. The included Roon Essentials software is great-I'll never go back to ITunes (I just use it for ripping now). It also has Tidal integrated. Sound quality is really full & rich, to my ears.
