Now this point bothers me about USB cables.
I saw a recent review in which the reviewer claimed that the Nordost USB cable sounded "fast and lean like typical Nordost cable" whereas the Cardas USB cable sounded like, "classic Cardas with a rich midrange."
The chance that differences in materials, geometry, insulation for a USB cable would have the same effect on sound as the analog cable is... The issues are completely different- and the fact is- cable companies have little if any idea or research about how changes in these areas affect whats really going on as far as USB transmission.
