This has probably been addressed before, but I feel that it is a worthy topic worth repeating. What music do you consider to be at a no compromise level of sound quality?? What do you use to test your components? What are your favorites?

Mine are
Opus 3 recordings--Tiny Island
Arvo Part-Te Deum (ECM New Series)
Wilco- Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Uncle Tupelo-March 16-20, 1992
Whiskeytown-Pneumonia
Ray Lamontagne--Till the Sun Turns Black(a great example of a modern album that hasnt been a casualty of the loudness/overproduction wars)
Jean Guillou-Organ Spectacular(formerly on Dorian)
Tony Faulkners Recording of Dawn Upshaw Symphony Of Sorrows
Alison Krauss/Union Station- Live

the more the merrier! Always looking for new stuff.
