Professor Longhair, or course, I saw him many times with Dr. John. Dr. John, btw, has part of a finger missing from an errant bullet fired while he was performing.Leon Kelner was a very popular N.O. piano musician and had a televison show on WDSU, a New Orleans TV station, in 1950s. I believe he had his own place in New Orleans, but I never went there. On his show he used two pianos back to back and played jazz, mostly, if I remember correctly. Anyway, if you can find anything he did you are lucky as you will not only have a great piano player, but a piece of New Orleans history.
Good luck.
