Good advice. One real quick check I might suggest since you didn't really describe the distortion in much detail is to completely eliminate the possibility of anything upstream by switching the speaker cables at the speakers from left to right. If the distortion stays in the left speaker it's for sure the left speaker, then a call to Magnapan would probably be in your best interest. They probably have some quick tests to help isolate the problem. Good luck. Jim
