I'll second Josh's recommendation if it works within your budget. The 3.7i just give you that much more of what Maggies can do, and the ribbon tweeter is sweet.
My listening room is approx. 22' x 22' x 20' with a vaulted ceiling. I employ a 15" sub & more powerful amp (Magtech) which probably wouldn't be needed given the room loading in a 12' x 16'6" x 8' space.
