I have a rattle in the central bass/mid panel(of the three) on one side(right), towards the middle of the panel. I gather a loose wire. How do I fix this?
Secondly, the other, left side has two problems: low volume out of the mid/bass panels (the outermost) and a bulge in the lower third of the tweeter, causing a bulge in the fabric. I can feel the mylar pressed against the cloth. Should I disassemble and check the wire or crossover for the bass problem? Is there an resistance or impedence value I can test for at the terminal panel to verify correct wiring? Or am I better of sending the set in for repair to the factory? I've seen 3M spray adhesive and silicone mentioned in discussions here. Isn't the mass and stiffness of the mylar-adhesive combination important? Three problems in all, I hope.
