You have the right JBen, magnepan sounds like the room looks like, and more than you might think.
I have my speakers on wheels and when I move them to the wall, I can immediately hear the difference of sound pressure, bass, etc..
Have a square living room with an angle on the right side and that is probably what draws the sound right.
Have a projector screen in the ceiling which enhances the sound when I pull it down, but more needs to be done ...
Problems with sound image can be frustrating but very interesting with such a complex speakers like Magnepan ...
