Hello,

I hope there is someone out there that knows everything about the ESL 63, because I'm in a kind of dead end. I took the enterprise to reconstructs these speakers, a task much more complex that I was expecting. Not because of something particularly difficult, like stretching the mylar, but because of many small details that make things go wrong. And those 5000V do not help either. Well, in the end I have one speaker working properly and another faulty. So, half victory. Unfortunately I prefer stereo to mono.

Let me try to describe the situation, to see if you can suggest a good idea:
- The speaker plays music but with a low level when compared with the other one
- I cannot detect any distortion, or clicks and pops, the treble seems a bit recessed though
- I tested all 4 panels and they are all working
- I tried disconnecting each one individually, but with no result
- The electronics was working ok before, and I have changed panels from on speaker to the other with no obvious signal that one was faulting

Any thing that I may be missing?

Many thanks for your help.

p.s.: I could send then to One Thing Audio, but hey that's expensive and the euro is not helping either.
