Kind of disappointing as it fail to discuss the lack of leadership and concern for preparing for the incoming virus. It was months after the virus's first landing on our shores, rampaged in China and had begun to ravage Europe before Federal officials consider it more than just a flu.

Only read the thing briefly, and though not completely disappointing it seems more a political narrative, somewhat vindictive, created by a partisan sub-committee than one looking forward to better serving the public and the economy when faced with future Pandemics.

If Covid had resulted in the 2 to 5 percent death rate it was thought to be possible there would have been 20 to 50 times more deaths due to the Pandemic. Rather have what might be considered over reactions in hindsight not be as formally condemned in these finding. Future Pandemics could be much more deadly.

Also the public response and many of the negatives were fueled by partisanship and a lack of a cohesive cooperative government.
