$6.39 here in Silicon Valley. Based on my trip up to San Francisco yesterday nobody cares. Suburbans and other monster SUV's, zooming by me at 90+ (plenty of big pickups and sedans as well, even a Mclaren). I see plenty of people idling in their cars in the parking lots to keep the A/C going as well. The economist in me wonders what price would change that behavior.

One of the funniest things is there is a local station known for having the lowest price, people sit and wait in lines, engines running, getting gas there. The funny part is they haven't had the lowest price in weeks, .30 cents higher than the '76 around the corner from me. Cows, the lot of them.

I did see a new electric Mercedes that looked interesting, the EQS. I looked it up, starts at $102,000. That's a lot of gas!
