I using a micro for thirds kit - Olympus. So the 300mm lens shoots at 600mm in 35mm terms. I can attach a 1.4x or 2x teleconverter to boost that to 840 or 1200. That's what I like about this. I wouldn't want to lug a 1200mm full frame rig around much. Actually, I'm just noticing the sun popped out. I should go look for the birds. It's been foggy all morning. I still kinda like fog but the light is nice now.
