Ban new fracking in fed land? Hardly any to begin with

Stop construction of Keystone P.L.? That pipeline would take volumes primarily being trucked or trained to US upper midwest refineries (at GREAT cost to tar sands producers) to the Gulf Coast, at low cost. primarily for export. Only winners, if completed, would be Canadian producers and the Crown (who gets all royalty and would benefit from higher price net backs to the lease).

Leasing on Fed lands hasn't particularly slowed down, tree huggers are pissed that fed lands are being offered for lease and have filed formal objections with the BLM

Oil production is close to pre pandemic levels. Only reason it isn't there is capital fled the oil patch during the low prices in 2020 and is only slowly returning with the recent jump in oil prices
