We have violent storms, hurricanes, etc. here near the Gulf Coast. I have a camping percolator and I keep some ground coffee in the freezer for power outages. My "emergency" coffee is better than the Kuerig system my wife has us on. Plus, the emergency coffee has been an effective trade bait for help removing downed trees and limbs.
