What a freakin mess. Near total destruction of everything. We were writing work contracts on hoods of cars, trying to get anyone with a pickup some debris cleanup work. Bought out a local farmer's land to use as a landfill. Water trailered in; tents communities put up by Marines; addresses spray painted large on houses so homes could be identified by roaming insurance agents; street and traffic control signage all gone. All this and more; looked like Hiroshima.
