Tonight I bought the 49-inch series 5 TCL at BestBuy, $349 but it's the 5 series. LG might arguably have had a better pic but I like the ROKU operating system since I have ROKU sticks on other sets.
Schlepped the box home all by myself and into the bedroom only to discover that one of the HDMI ports doesn't work. It will have to go back.
Agree with Rod the picture quality is nice and the seamless connection to ROKU is what I was looking for too. Picture quality is more than satisfactory.
Who cares how long it lasts, I paid as much for the 32-inch 1080p set it replaces ten years ago.
