Guys spend money left and right on audio, are absolute car snobs. Everything is "butt ugly". And then these guys get their hair cut at some discount clip joint by whoever.
There are people who cut hair at reasonable prices who are good. My hair cutter is a lady. She does me, my wife, daughter-in-law as well as her parents and one brother. The key is a competent hair cutter, talking to this person so they know what you want, and consistency. They learn to cut your hair over time.
I used to do Super Cuts etc. Very inconsistent results. My wife finally talked me into using the same person. That was great advice. After 20 years or so you will know each other's life story. Did I mention that she is cute.
