Tip of the hat to a guy who is seeking to bring joy into his life, and , by extension, to better his family.
My old self, I would be afraid of the modern tempos, not too many slow songs kicking around todays pop charts, but I wouldn't turn down any musical device. It's nice that the electronics allow for a less space extravagant deal.
Music is the best, and any participation , in anything, is better than watching.
I've done some fine drumming myself, with sticks, out backpacking . That kind of stuff is not what I do when car camping, and every jack ass in the world has a million candlepower Coleman lantern up your ass.
I have seen some fine drumming, come to think of it. I have happy memories from buddy rich doing a I am the king solo from my childhood, lots of rock and jazz came next, to a recent listen to the LA philharmonic with Williams conducting his stat wars composition.
I hope all that primitive man, spiritual drum stuff still works with digital.
