I have been using Fitzmaurice HT Tuba subs with Oris 150 horns and Fostex t900a bullet tweeters for about ten years. I am very very pleased with the HT Tubas, but my impressions are undoubtedly colored by the fact that I use DEQX DSP to correct many problems with my system. In my room and system the output of the Tubas at 25Hz is identical to the output at the 1kHz reference tone with a steep roll off below 25 HZ. Before the HT Tubas I used Klipschorn bass bins with the Oris and Fostex. The quality of the bass with the Tubas is very similar to that of the Klipschorns but they give strong impactful output at least half an octave lower.

The Tubas are very tuneful, not a sign of one note bass. They are sensitive, and have great punch and impact when that is in the recording. I recommend them.
