I have heard most of the TAD CDs and I like the 2001 a lot.
Of course I can only tell you guys what I would do to satisfy my objectives.

I'd run the TD2001 from 800-1000 Hz and up on a Le Cleach or Iwata horn and forget about that part of the range. Then I would throw all my energy and resources into getting the lower midrange and bass right, because that is going to be much much harder.

Crossing the TD2001 at 5k will get you into serious lobing issues, so please enter this into the equation when you decide to splash serious dosh out on this driver.
