I tuned into the concert on PBS here in the Denver Area by accident on Wednesday night and enjoyed the presentation very much. It made me think about how lucky I was growing up in the 60s and 70s and how many great pop musicians we had. Everybody is graying Eric Clapton, the Beatles, what great pop musicians they all are/were. George Harrison's son was playing through the whole concert and it gave a mysterious tone as he looks so much like his father (George) and there he was playing. As the concert showcase Harrison songs, it re-affirmed what a gifted yet, understated songsmith he truly was. It will difficult for any pop group to ever (even remotely) approach the legacy that the Beatles have given us. I wonder how well the concert was recorded/produced, has anyone hear the music only CD of the Concert?
