The Waveforms were the first speakers I ever heard as a Canadian teenager in Ottawa back in the 80s that made my mouth truly drop... Turned me into an audiophile at 15 or 16. I didn't have any money then (as now!) but a salesman took me under his wing and spent that day showing me the inside outs of audio. Never forgot it and what I learned (it was "trust your ears" even back then). I sometimes wonder how they would stack up today. I really like my ProAcs though :)
