A few years back I purchased a Logitech mini boom. Measures maybe 2x2x3 but puts out a very satisfying sound, meets all your requirements, and is very portable.

I don't believe it is still in production. They do, however, have more recent models. I'm not recommending the Logitech UE Mini Boom series in particular. I haven't heard the latest.

My main suggestion is that you get something of good quality and that it doesn't have to be large to be satisfying. The small speaker I have will fill a campsite and it's very portable.
