Hi,
i rebuilt a Pas3 with new psu, vc, connectors and linestage(JC kits), removed the phonocard and after a long fight with noise and problems it is finally up and running. It could be more silent with my Lowtherhorns but i can live with the low level noise.
Problem is that it is not fully transparent and pretty bass shy compared to my other budget pre-amp(Atoll pr200). Bass is a bit blury and sound is lacking details. Could it be some damaged components on the linecard?
