I recently purchased a Panasonic DMP-BD10 Blu-ray player and can report that it does indeed play DVD-Audio discs. This is my third DVD-Audio player and is the best-sounding one to date. I also own a Marantz DV9500 universal player and the Panasonic sounds significantly better. They are both superior to the Rotel player that I previously owned.
The BD-10 can now be purchased for ~$880 to $1000. A new model, the DMP-BD-10a will soon be available for $600, and it will also play DVD-A.
