Hi,I'm using it with my STAX ELS-F81 electrostats, it's simply fantastic, not bright or harsh at all, but very sweet and smooth. Don't know about it driving horns, though. Note that you'll have to set the digital volume control very low with your khorns, which may lead to some loss in resolution. The lowest I regularily use with the STAX is about -35dB and I can't detect any loss.
It's probably my best buy in HiFi in 25 years. I also recommend using it with a digital equalizer, like I do (Behringer 8024).
