Why not continue to use the Oppo as a transport to feed your new DAC? And, as others have suggested, start ripping your CDs to mass storage? The number of manufacturers of optical drives is shrinking, as they have been abandoned by the PC industry and by the audio and video industries.

Being a mechanical device, the optical drive will fail sooner or later; and there are those who say that playback quality from mass storage, especially if caching to a SSD is used, is better than from an optical drive.

As far as SACDs go, there is a method for ripping them from -- IIRC earlier generation OPPOs to dsd/dsf files that then can be added to your mass storage. There are also folks who do this for a fee. Transports that play SACDs are limited to a few with proprietary interfaces (tying you to their DAC), such as PS Audio and some OPPOS that have an HDMI output (which requires a DAC with an HDMI input). Likewise, there are new, cheap "universal disc players" oriented to the Home Theater market; but they all output an HDMI signal.

Notice I have not said a word about streaming services, such as Tidal and Qobuz. I continue to believe that they are way underpriced, so the fact that they are a screaming deal today may not always be the case. But I really considered that beyond the scope of your question.

Some serious bargains on used CDs, by the way. Not all of them sound like crap.
