Digital Drive: Philips DAT880 by tda1541

I recently bought a Philips DAT880. I never heard of it before, nor have i ever seen this model in a Philips magazine. As far as i know i has not been on the market here in Holland.

The seller told me it is a prototype, only 4 are build.

I know the Philips DAT850 which in fact is a JVC rebadged. I wonder if this Philips DAT880 in fact is a prototype, or is a rebadged JVC.

Does anyone here know the Philips DAT880? I am looking for information. It has a tda1541 ( i wonder i any JVC DAT recorders specific used a tda1541).
