I also echo Orchadist's positive experience. I am actually a 9-time dealer with AT, and have had nothing but great experiences every time.

I read the series of emails, and am suprised as well. Tom is passionate about music and his products, so I see how he reacted with disbelief that tubenube hadn't even listened to the cable yet. Unless it directly interfered with the function of the 'table (which it wasn't clear, it sounded like tubenube guessed it would), to me it's worth at least trying out.

That said, I definitely don't condone any insulting or name-calling, and it's clear this was done as well. This is a hobby, for some a love, but it's not worth any of that.

I'm truly sorry tubenube had a bad experience; it definitely is not reflective of my experience. But based on my experience with AT products (interconnects, speaker cable, power cords, and phono support box), it might be worth the try to see how it sounds.
