i was visiting a local audio shop today and the owner said something very interesting. he told me that in a truly balanced cable, there is no audible difference between a $50 cable and a $600 cable. he said that the reason for this is because the noise reduction takes place in the circuit of the components and has nothing to do with the cable itself. he did say that when dealing with single ended or speaker wire, there are huge differences.could this be true?
