I just got a Mini Digital model and tried it out briefly. I didn't hear a whole lot of difference with it. The effects were pretty subtle. Maybe it's because I've got the Acme Audio silver-plated outlets already, which made a definite improvement. For some reason, there's very little discussion of the device here (or in the General forum).
