Not sure if I answered this or not. If not, my apologies for the late response. In short, I can't honestly give an opinion. At the time that I put them into my system it only registered that the Acoustic Revive was doing what I wanted it to do, that is, it maintained the detail and staging of the Mamba, but also had bass (esp, when used with my high current amp). I would do a critical listen for you now, but unfortunately my preamp went AWOL and nothing sounds right to me now.
