good question! ive been running stacked advents wired from each amp channel to one advent with the other advent connected with jumpers from the first one's speaker posts.

i got another pair of similar sized speakers and swapped that pair in for the top of the stack. its a great sounding pair of speakers (cabasse) but more efficient than advent and dominates the sound. figuerd since i have more than one amp, why not use 2 amps - one on each level of the stack - to try to even out the sound levels.

what kept me back was that my preamp has a single set of outs. thanks to your tips, i have a solution on order.
